Divers4Divers 2021 Dive Series


Lots of fun has been had so far during our summer series, stay tuned as we roll into fall! Please indicate on form which events you are attending! Divers are responsible for their own travel, gear, accommodations, dive site fees, air fills, and food. We are providing the meat for a cookout Saturday Night before the night dive, bring a side to share. Can't wait to splash!! And for those who are collecting cylinder badges, we have those for you!! Woohoo!!

Scuba Discovery Course

For those who want to test the waters and try scuba, this is the course for you! The Scuba Discovery Program gives you a glimpse of what you can expect to experience in the underwater world as well as what you could expect to learn in the Open Water Scuba Diver course. During this experience program, you will go through the basic safety procedures for enjoyable scuba diving under the watchful eye of an active Instructor. You will learn skills such as equalizing your ears, buddy checks, basic buoyancy control, underwater communication, and more. You will also be given an introduction to basic scuba equipment followed by an underwater tour in the local pool or aquatic environment.

SDI Computer Nitrox

Nitrox is a breathing gas that has a lot of benefits for both new and experienced divers. Benefits include longer bottom times, shorter surface intervals, longer repetitive dive times, and reduced post-dive exhaustion. Through a hands-on, active learning session, this course covers the use of nitrox mixtures from 22 to 40 percent oxygen.
