Boat Diving occurs every day around the world; whether is it an inland lake or in the Caribbean, South Pacific or Read Sea, divers can explore the underwater world located off-shore. Dive boats vary from small private vessels to large live-aboard dive boats. The Boat Diver Course covers the ?how-to?s? of boat diving from how to board, proper boat etiquette, entry(s) and much more. The course will also introduce you to the various types of boats you may be diving from.

This specialty is designed to increase the open water diver's understanding of the factors that influence buoyancy and to train the diver on how to use the means available for controlling buoyancy. The added benefits to the marine and freshwater environments, cannot be overstated; as well as a diver that has better control within the underwater environment.

Divers have a vested interest in protecting the marine environment. In many cases, divers do not have environmental information about local sites. This specialty is designed to increase the open water diver's understanding of marine and freshwater environments, the problems facing these unique ecosystems, and the role that divers play in protecting our marine resources.

The Open Water Diver certification gives you access to vast oceans and your local lakes and quarries. This entry-level certification allows you to participate in many supervised and unsupervised dive activities. You will probably want to take additional training later, but Open Water Scuba Diver certification will start you on your way to many exciting underwater adventures. During the confined water and open water dives, you will learn how to assemble, operate and break down your scuba kit. You will also learn basic scuba skills such as mask and regulator clearing, buoyancy control, emergency air management, and dive planning.

This course is designed for people who are wanting to obtain their Open Water Scuba Diver Certification but will be conducting their checkout dives at a different resort. This program includes the required six academic sessions, six pool sessions, and a referral packet to take to the dive destination of your choice, where you will complete your 4 Open Water Checkout dives. We can work with the resort of your choice to arrange the details for the checkout dives. Please note that each resort will have its own fees, separate from the cost of this course.

A Scuba Skills Update provides you with the opportunity to review and practice the basic scuba skills that you learned in your original open water diver training program.

The Rescue Diver Course is designed to develop the knowledge and necessary skills to effectively perform diver rescues and assist and administer the necessary first aid in the event of an emergency. You will learn skills such as how to perform self rescues, buddy rescues, recognize and calm potential panic divers, administer proper first aid to divers that have experienced dive related injuries, conduct effective search patterns and manage accident scenes. After the Rescue Diver Course, you can enroll in the Master Scuba Diver Development Program or start in the professional ranks and sign up for the Divemaster Course.

For those who want to test the waters and try scuba, this is the course for you! The Scuba Discovery Program gives you a glimpse of what you can expect to experience in the underwater world as well as what you could expect to learn in the Open Water Scuba Diver course. During this experience program, you will go through the basic safety procedures for enjoyable scuba diving under the watchful eye of an active Instructor. You will learn skills such as equalizing your ears, buddy checks, basic buoyancy control, underwater communication, and more. You will also be given an introduction to basic scuba equipment followed by an underwater tour in the local pool or aquatic environment.

Wreck diving can be one of the most exciting aspects of sport diving, however, every effort must be made to maximize safe diving techniques. The Wreck Diver Course will discuss the equipment and techniques commonly employed while wreck diving.
