Course prerequisites:
- To participate in the SDI Inactive Diver/Refresher Course, the individual must:
- Have proof of an SDI Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent from a recognized dive training organization
OR - SDI Junior Open Water Scuba Diver certification or equivalent from a recognized dive training organization
Course includes:
- Academics:
It's easy to fit a scuba refresher course into your busy schedule. Using a computer or mobile device, watch videos of how to perform basic scuba skills and review dive planning and safety procedures - whenever, wherever it's convenient for you.
Connect with your instructor for a water session, or whenever you have a question. eLearning time commitment: 2-3 hours
- Confined Water Training:
Each student will need to provide own mask, snorkel, fins, and booties for pool sessions. Scuba equipment is available for rent. Complete an optional water session where you'll practice setting up dive gear, make ascents and descents, and review any scuba skills you may have forgotten. Total time commitment: 2-6 hours
- Recognition of Completion: Certificate, Experience E-Card
- $30 Credit Towards ANY Continued Education Course
