| Details: | Outer Reef is hosting a dive weekend at Pennyroyal Scuba Blue Springs in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. This incredible quarry is Kentucky’s only full service, diver exclusive resort facility. Best known for their unusually clear water & warm southern hospitality. Blue Springs is a Beautiful 22-acre rock quarry with loads of fish, a motorhome, a yacht wreck, and dinosaurs! This facility makes you feel welcomed and a part of their family. Outer Reef will be leading deep dives and night dives as well, divers must hold the proper certification to participate. We will provide a cookout on Saturday night. Bring a side to share. We will also be handing out our coveted “Traveling Trash Trophy”. This is award is given to the diver who collects the most trash on a trip. The diver gets to keep the trophy until the next event and it will be passed on the next diver. Mesh bags for underwater clean up will be provided. Divers will be responsible for travel to and from Pennyroyal Scuba Blue Springs, use your buddy system and carpool. Divers will also be responsible for rentals, dive site fees, and accommodations. There is camping available on-site, first-come, first-serve basis, as well as hotels in nearby Hopkinsville, KY. |
