Step One: 
Academics: PADI eLearning®

PADI eLearning makes it easy to fit scuba lessons into a busy schedule. Learn about scuba diving principles and terminology whenever, wherever it's convenient for you. It's your course on your time. Study offline, or online using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor whenever you have a question.

eLearning Time Commitment:
 5-10 hours

Step Two: 
Confined Water Training: With Your Instructor  (MUST BE SCHEDULED SEPARATELY, Additional Fee)

Practice using scuba gear in a pool (or pool-like environment) until you're comfortable. PADI training includes practice "mini dives" to help you build confidence in your new abilities before making four dives in open water.  Each student will need to provide own mask, snorkel, fins, and booties for pool sessions. 

Time Commitment: Min. 4  academic and pool sessions


Step Three: 
Open Water Checkouts With Your Instructor (MUST BE SCHEDULED SEPARATELY, Additional Fee)

Open Water Training: 4 required open water checkout dives. Checkout dives will be completed over two days, must be completed within 6 months of the start date. 

Student is responsible for all transportation, dive site fees, air fills and scuba gear required for checkouts. 

Time Commitment: Min. 4 Open Water Dives, Over the Course of two days. 

Prerequisites: Able to swim; medically fit for diving
Total time commitment (for entire course, including eLearning): Min. 4 days
Minimum age: 10 years or older
Depth: expect shallow dives 40ft, the maximum allowed depth is 60ft


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Comfort in the water, Ability to swim 200m & tread for 10 mins, Ability to lift 20- 30lbs
